AMASS
Performed at Emergency: A full day out for the curious at Z-Arts, Manchester, 6 October 2018.
AMASS is a gathering: a place of convergence, collaboration, negotiation and survival that seeks to playfully interrogate the nexus of men’s interdependencies and dissociation: how men often struggle to navigate the implications and social coding of their emotional and physical needs for contact with one another.
AMASS seeks to connect and reconnect; to find and maintain elusive equilibrium and cohesion exploring action and memory.
Performed by: Haydn Ainslie, Yezuan Calvís, Glen Cutwerk, Peter Jacobs, Sasha Mataya, David Parkinson, Gul Rashid and Valentinos Thomos.
Concept and choreography by Peter Jacobs.
Music: a.d.du.nord, Mathieu Lamontagne & Emmanuel Toledo, Daniel Birch and спонтанные модуляции by Creative Commons Attribution Licence from the Free Music Archive, compiled by Peter Jacobs.
